Your Credit Union--Then and Now      CRC Federal Credit Union was chartered in 1963 with $750.00 in assets on the day it opened for business. Today, the credit union proudly serves over 1700 members with assets of just under 10 million dollars. The credit union hours of operation are Monday, Wednesday and Friday 10am until 5pm, Tuesday and Thursday 10am until 4pm. CRC Federal Credit Union has always prided itself with its philosophy of "people helping people" and "once a member, always a member." The credit union's field of membership serves the employees of the California Rehabilitation Center in Norco (CRC), employees of CRC who work at Patton State Hospital, employees of the California Institution for Women in Chino (CIW), employees of the California Institution of Men in Chino (CIM), employees of the Southern Selection Center Office of Peace Officers Selection in Rancho Cucamonga, CA and employees of the California Patton State Hospital in Patton CA.  Also, eligible are retired employees from the State of California Department of Corrections and immediate family members of all members of C.R.C. Federal Credit Union.

PHILOSOPHY & STRUCTURE Credit unions are democratically owned and controlled institutions based on 'people helping people' principles. Credit union boards of directors are elected by members; each member has an equal vote, regardless of how much he or she has on deposit. Only members may serve as directors, and directors serve without compensation. Credit unions have no outside stockholders, so after reserves are set aside, earnings are returned to members in the form of higher dividends on savings, lower loan rates and lower cost services.
